Welcome

Bellevue has been selected to advance to the Semifinal round of the Georgetown University Energy Prize, a national competition that challenges us, along with other small- and medium-sized communities to develop and implement creative, sustainable, and replicable strategies to save energy.

The City of Bellevue is now recruiting for the Eastside Energy Corps and we want YOU!

On February 17, the King County Metro Transit began testing its first ever, battery powered buses. King County Executive Dow Constantine launched the testing of these buses, and spoke of the benefits of using clean energy technology. Click to learn more!

Check out this video by City of Bellevue about the new green roof they've installed! The installation is funded by the King Conservation District. The King Conservation District is a special purpose district created to help private landowners manage and steward their natural resources through education, technical assistance and financial assistance.

Bellevue's Green Power Challenge, which officially ended on October 31st, succeeded in meeting and exceeding its goal of 250 net new enrollments, and has earned a $50,000 solar grant for the Crossroads Park installation! Congrats to everyone who was involved in helping Bellevue receive this grant, and who contributed to the success of the Green Power Challenge.
